Technopark to Host AI Conferences for IT Industry
Technopark is set to host a series of conclaves aimed at keeping the IT industry updated on the latest global trends, starting with ‘Transcend India 2024.’ Organized by NASSCOM FAYA:80 in collaboration with the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) and the Group of Technology Companies (GTech), the inaugural event will take place at Travancore Hall, Technopark, on June 5 at 2:30 pm.
The conclaves will emphasize artificial intelligence (AI) as a central theme, targeting the IT sector to assist in reconfiguring their AI strategies. These events aim to foster engagement between Kerala’s IT industry and global tech leaders, facilitating the review and enhancement of AI strategies to keep pace with rapid technological advancements. The annual conclaves will involve a diverse array of stakeholders, including startups, small and medium enterprises, multinational corporations, and government agencies, ensuring they are prepared to meet global tech advancements.
Deepu S. Nath, Managing Director of Faya and chief curator of the event, highlighted the benefits of involving global players in the AI strategy process. He emphasized that their expertise and technological advancements significantly boost local capabilities and foster the creation of robust AI roadmaps. This year's event will feature prominent organizations such as Mozilla, Google Developers, Beckn, and the EkStep Foundation, all of whom will contribute to strengthening Kerala's tech ecosystem.
Anubhav Singh, a Google Developer Expert, is scheduled to deliver the keynote address on the Next Era of Global AI Developments and discuss advancements following GPT-4, Llama 3, and Gemini. Additionally, Ravi Prakash, CTO of Beckn, will explore the Intersection of AI and Open Networks and its potential for India.
