HDFC Bank advises customers to refrain from using this money transfer service on April 1, 2024, due to potential delays in salary and other payments.

HDFC Bank has notified its customers about potential disruptions to National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) services on April 1, 2024. Due to year-end financial procedures, NEFT transactions might not be available or could face delays. Customers are advised to consider using alternative methods such as Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), or Unified Payments Interface (UPI) for money transfers on that day.

In an email to customers, HDFC Bank stated, "Please be informed that outbound NEFT transactions may experience delays or be unavailable on April 1, 2024, due to year-end financial processes. We encourage you to utilize IMPS, RTGS, or UPI for your transactions during this period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
