"Home Minister Amit Shah Asserts Stability in Kashmir, Mocks Rahul Gandhi During Udaipur Roadshow Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections"
During a roadshow in Udaipur, Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Rahul Gandhi and other politicians who had predicted turmoil in Kashmir after the removal of Article 370. Shah boasted about the stability in the region under Prime Minister Modi's government, asserting that no one dares to cause trouble there anymore.
The roadshow, held shortly after the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, saw Shah mocking Rahul Gandhi and recalling past statements about potential chaos in Kashmir post-Article 370's abrogation. He highlighted the peace and lack of violence in the region under the current administration.
Accompanied by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Shah campaigned for BJP candidate Mannalal Rawat, expressing confidence in the party's prospects in Rajasthan. He also took jabs at Congress, predicting a downfall for the party in the ongoing elections.
Shah's confidence extended to believing that BJP would sweep all seats in the state, as Rajasthan's 25 parliamentary constituencies were split across two phases of polling, with the first phase concluding successfully.
